Bravos for Brian
"Brian has forgotten more about cycling than most of us will ever know.  A former racer and a certified cycling coach, Brian passes on his passion for cycling and his knowledge at every level from bike selection and fitting through to the details of riding in a group.    He is obsessive about safety and doing it the right way.  He uses a personal understanding of you and your goals to motivate you to be the best cyclist that you can be.  The proof is in the doing; he took an overweight 67 year old that hadn’t ridden in years and within 6 months turned me into a double century rider.  For that I am indebted to Brian who is not only a great coach but a good friend as we continue to work together."

Better Cyclist
"I wanted to become a better cyclist, but I felt skeptical about the value of personal coaching. I'd met other cyclists who'd worked with coaches, but they didn't convince me that I could learn more from a coach than I could from a good cycling magazine. I remained skeptical even after I asked Brian Frank to help me. I'd anticipated a gruelling program of brutal strengthening exercises combined with endless endurance rides and leg-shredding hill reps. Instead, Brian assigned to me a program that involved relatively straightforward routines of relatively short duration. The challenge for me did not involve completing the program but sticking with it. When I did, I noticed within two weeks a distinct improvement in cadence, leg speed, climbing and endurance. And I'd just begun.

Brian knows his stuff. Not only does he have a firm understanding of the fundamentals, he also appreciates the nuances of cycling. If you pay attention and do what he says, he'll make you a better cyclist."

Skills to a Higher Level
"Several years ago, as a club cyclist I wanted to take my skill to a higher level and I reached out
to Brian to help me achieve my goals. I knew I needed to improve my riding skills (especially hill climbing). In 2008, when I first decided that I really wanted to advance as a cyclist and compete in Ironman, I realized that an athlete with the right 'individual' program out-trains, out-performs, and out-lasts everyone else.

From the first time I met with Brian, I could see that he was a professional with years of riding experience and I quickly saw that with his coaching, he could help me achieve my cycling goals. With his direction, I was able to get fitter and I learned how to be more physically and mentally prepared.

As well as being a great coach motivator, Brian keeps my bikes in tip-top condition. He takes his skills as a bike mechanic to the extreme and he will not let a bike 'go to race' unless it’s in impeccable condition."
